This entire mural is done in craft paint, the kind of paint you use to paint ceramic figures. as you can see to the left.

As promised, here are more pictures of the mural I did in 2008. This took me four months to complete, it is approximately 34 ft high. This was four walls of Madagascar characters from penguins, to lions, zebras, and a hippo.
This was by far one of the most challenging pieces I have ever done. My first mural, I was in an elevator shaft, cramped and always nervous. I hate elevators, I'm convinced the line will break and i will fall to my death.
I had never seen the movie Madagascar so I had to look up all the individual characters on the Internet and from there draw a rough idea as to what i wanted each wall to look like, who i wanted where and the space i wanted between them.
Looking back on this mural there are things I would change if I could, the base of the mural is sand and grass... I feel as though i should have Incorporated some really interesting jungle type plants... almost surrealistic, like Alice In Wonderland style.
