This small doodle was done while I was in college. We were assigned to talk about issues pertaining to young adults I chose eating disorders like bulimia and anorexia. More specifically how its thrown in our faces on a daily basis through the media. We are expected to look a certain way in order to be considered beautiful in today's standards. Runway models are stick thin and glamorous. In the fashion business you are considered a plus sized model if you are 130lbs. Its my dream to be 130 lbs, I'd be content being a plus sized runway model if that were the case :P I read an article about a Chanel model, one quote she had was "I'd rather die than be fat." This was the inspiration for this doodle. This was simply done on white paper with black pen.

Till Death Do Us Part
This unfinished piece is turning out to be one of my favourites. When I complete this i intend to make it much more gruesome. The inspiration for this was hurt feelings... I find I am best at my creative ideas when I have many emotions going on inside of me. Whether it be heartbreak or extreme happiness. This is done in acrylic paints on a canvas that is 36"x36". The woman is intended to be gorgeous, young and full of life whereas the one she adores is feeble and decayed, proof that love knows no boundaries.
